CCSU President - The Role

The President of Cornwall College Students’ Union is the only full-time, elected officer of the Student Union. They are the main figurehead of CCSU, with overall responsibility for all student union activity across all seven campuses.

The President’s main role is to represent the views of the students to college staff, the Corporation Board, and the National Union of Students. Additionally, the President helps to manage the volunteer officers on each campus.

Joe Vinson - CCSU President 2011/12

Hi, I’m Joe Vinson, and I am the elected President of Cornwall College Students’ Union for 2011-12. Before I became President I was a student at the Camborne campus studying A-Levels in Biology, Politics, Law and Sociology.

My job is to represent all 36,000 of you, whether you’re FE or HE, full-time or part-time! If there’s anything you want to let me know, whether it’s a campaign you’d like to see or a comment about your course, let me know by email or using the Just Tell Joe text-in service.
